So I just learned that analog tv is getting a few more months to be analogish. The people on the local Denver news interviewed some dude from a local company called Up and Running {you see what they did there, right?} who said that they’ve been flooded with calls from concerned “citizens” who aren’t exactly ready for the big switch. So he thinks it’s a good thing that they’ve pushed the date back.
The big switch? What big switch? I’ve been digital for the past few years. I don’t even know what stations you get with rabbit ears any more. Do those stations still broadcast shows? Or are they filled with announcements from the Emergency Broadcast System?
If you’ve got rabbit ears and you’re under the age of 93, what are you watching? Do you really tune in for the news daily? Do people under 93 still watch the news? Can you get Antique Roadshow on rabbit ears?
